Walkie talkies are not popular for general users. They are more popular in the military. All the military soldiers use walkie talkies to make communication with each other. They are popular because of their portability and for their quick connection feature. It doesn’t require any tower so you can make communication in an emergency. That is also a great fact of walkie talkies. Walkie talkies allow for alerting people during a disaster and helping giving instructions.

Two-way radios are more popular among the general users as they allow two-way signal. They can work even there is no electricity. There is no headache of wire so you can take them wherever you want. They are popular because they allow both sending and receiving of communication at the same time. You don’t need to wait for the one to finish his speech and deliver you. You deliver yours at the same time when the other person is talking. Overall two-way radios are a better way of communication than walkie talkies.

So these are some differences between walkie-talkies and two-way radios. Instead of so many differences, both are a great way of communication from their parts. Walkie-talkies are more suitable for commercial use and two-way radios are popular among the general people.
