Introductory Information of Ham Radio License

Amateur radio or ham radio. Kind a familiar hobby and service. That utilizes the radio frequency spectrum. Want to turn it into a commercial one? Of course, need an official license to operate. But not experienced yet. Let’s look down before.

Ham Radio with License

Ham radio or amateur radio, whatever social network being known. The main purpose is to communicate. In the way of wireless experimentation and self training. Even through sharing private messages or radio sport. Or, better to say in emergency communication.

Radio frequency between 1.8-1300 MHz, considered for ham radio. Frequency means how things occur within a rapid time window. A handheld mobile ham radio runs through 5-8 watts. The base stations can transfer messages by using upto 1,500 watts. Considering fewer restrictions on antennas. But can sound powerful with ham radio repeaters.

Technician (entry):  Transmission permit from 2 meter-70 centimeter band width. Including above 30 MHz of amateur bands.

General: Gives access into the lower frequencies. But longer wavelength HF bands.

Advanced (extra): All amateur privileges. Including small exclusive sub bands from 80-15 meters. 


But which one is perfect for you? In particular, starts with Tech Licenses for beginners. This covers operations at the largest legal power limit. Register and sit for the test. Consists of poll questions of 35. Obtain at least 26 marks to pass.


Still cannot access everything. Though you already have earned a tech license. Time to upgrade. Well, need to obtain a General Class license. To operate your ham radio at ease and HF. 


The General Class exam consists of 35 questions. Like before, require at least 26 right to pass. As well as it introduces some new topics. To the experienced hams. To get privilege on nearest HF bands immobile off limits.


Yet you have the lowest access time and limit. So you need an Advanced Class License. The higher segments count on prime operating territory. Keep learning relevant lessons and utilize online resources.


 Unlike the previous two, the Amateur Extra License contest is different. Attend 50 questions. Then make 37 answers correct to pass over. This exam covers several advanced technical issues. Including associated rules and regulations.

Is It Hard to Achieve?
